Somewhere Down Above The Skies is a meditation on nature and on the vulnerability of being human on Earth. Even the steadiness and reliability of such strong living things as trees are questioned in the work through camera movements and by using the camera as character. When we look at leafless crowns of trees in the sky we might also imagine their similarly structured roots under the ground.
The soundtrack is based on found music mixed by and partly composed by In Vitro.
