Biography

 

Profile
Csernák-Riskó is emerging filmmaker (MA) based in London since 2006. He has directed several short films and music videos, all of which has been shown in various film festivals across the world. As an active and committed collaborator
he also participates in other artists' and filmmakers' work.

Key Skills
Editing: proficient in Final Cut Pro, Live Type, DVD Studio Pro
Directing: Directing and producing his own films, which are all, produced to a high standard
VJ: working with live video mixing equipment (software and Hardware) since 2005
Camera-work As a self-shooting director he is able to use and understand various industry standard camera and lightning equipment

Work Experience
As a productive filmmaker since 2005 I have directed several successful short films. At the moment I am producing
a piece in collaboration with dancer/choreographer Lorraine Smith (Silversmith Dance Company)and costume designer
Nadia Malik (MA).
Currently I am assisting filmmaker Roz Mortimer on her present project (pre-production phase).
In 2008 I was working for Next Generation Projects as video tutor, editor and occasional cameraman.
I taught introduction to camera to children between 10-16. I have also worked with young offenders to create short film from sketch.
In 2007/2008 I was employed as sessional Graduate Training Assistant at UCA in Maidstone.
I was assisting Zadoc Nava in Music Video production.
As a freelance filmmaker I am working for various clients in the UK and Hungary including Tim and Barry TV,
Index Magazine (www.index.hu), Bencium Graphic Design (www.bencium.hu), Solid (www.solid.hu), NXG Projects,
music video director Adam Lieber and Lulu Elliot, video artist Christy Johnson, dancer/choreographer Marta Ladjanszki
and Lorraine Smith.
